PilotAgent Passport Revision A / hardware preview

REVISION A / DEVELOPMENT PREVIEW

A physical key.
A verifiable request.

Agent Passport is USB-connected hardware identity for agents. It is designed to sign requests with a key held in a secure element, so participating services can recognize a device and apply its allowance.

DEVELOPMENT STATUS

What Revision A supports today.

Current board: touch directly powers the secure element. The bring-up firmware requires touch for each PUBKEY or SIGN operation.

Planned product: periodic human-presence confirmation with unattended request signing between check-ins. Further hardware and firmware work is required.

What providers verify.

A signature proves possession of a device key, not a unique person. Providers must verify the trusted issuer record, request binding, freshness, replay protection and device allowance.

Electrical limits, mechanical dimensions and certifications remain unqualified. SDKs are development previews; software tests do not establish physical-board validation.

Design basis: Revision A BOM, bring-up firmware and SDK protocol, 21 September 2026. Component references: Espressif ESP32-S3 and Microchip ATECC608B.
